I am fascinated by Mike the cop. And by the teacher
he was talking with about arming teachers in school. And I agree that we can never stop school shootings. There were shootings and bombings in the 1800's. We just didn't have the mass media then that make something that happens a thousand miles away seem like it's right in our neighborhood. I also think when you pack 2000 students on a campus of the school already Disturbed students will feel like they are just another brick in the wall. And with all the cruelty social media has unleashed on kids who are already feeling like outcasts is there any surprise that' kids go to school with guns and blow their tormentors away?
I know this is old but task trained service dogs should be and are allowed on planes. Guide dogs and medical alert dogs are considered medical equipment and should be treated as such. now if we are talking about ESA they are not tasked trained but are allowed on airplanes, hotels and non-pet friendly housing they do not have public access rights under the ADA. Therapy animals are trained to bring people happiness in hard times they do NOT have any rights at all. Therapy dogs have to be certified through an organization and are only allowed in public places if invited by the owner only to do therapy work.

The issue I see is that both sides is coming at this issue from different points and I'm conflicted. On one hand I understand the problem in forcing these walkouts on the other hand my town told the students they would be punished for doing so. The right to protest goes to all protest (nonviolent) free speech is the same. Yes I'm liberal but life is only about politics anymore and I just want to go to school and talk to my friends about my k/d again.
