VANISHED: The Search for 66 y/o James Antonson (Pt2) – Everything Law and Order Blog

The mystery deepens as Adventures With Purpose continues its relentless search for James Antonson, the 66-year-old fisherman who vanished from Killeen, Texas.

On this second day of our investigation, we venture into new terrains, face unexpected challenges, and uncover potential clues that might bring us closer to solving the disappearance of James.

🎬.. Looking for Day 1?
Day 1 – Searching for 66-year-old James Antonson

James, a seasoned fisherman, left his home with the intent to scout a fishing spot. Yet, he took no fishing gear with him. This peculiar detail has been the cornerstone of our investigation. What was James’s true intention that evening? Being a local, he was well-acquainted with the fishing spots in Killeen. So, what drove him to embark on this mysterious journey?

Our Day 1 search took us to several potential locations, from lakes near James’s residence to secluded spots that might hold the key to his disappearance. Using advanced magnetometers and sonar equipment, we scoured the depths, hoping to locate James’s missing car, which could be a significant lead in this case.

Our journey led us to the military base surrounding Killeen. While we were met with some resistance from the military police, their cooperation provided crucial insights. They confirmed that no vehicle had breached their fences in the past year and a half, ruling out several potential water bodies within the base’s vicinity.

However, on Day 2, our determination remained unyielding. We expanded our search radius, pushing beyond the initial locations. Two major lakes caught our attention, presenting us with new challenges and possibilities. As we navigated through the military base’s terrains, we encountered areas that were strictly off-limits, but our commitment to finding James never wavered.

As Adventures With Purpose, our mission goes beyond just solving cases. It’s about bringing closure to families, shedding light on forgotten stories, and ensuring that every missing person, like James Antonson, is never forgotten.

Join us as we navigate through the intricate web of clues, face unforeseen challenges, and remain steadfast in our quest to uncover the truth about James Antonson’s mysterious disappearance. Every lead, every discovery, and every moment of anticipation brings us one step closer to unraveling this intricate mystery.

  1. Hey Jared, i think 🤔 maybe this case is a wildgoose hunt… Really now, no picture of James, and No idea what he was driving ?!? Hmmmmm. 😮

  2. You missed a hidden boat ramp before the dam. There’s a restaurant on the hill but the ramp goes behind it and it’s very deep. A car could easily be there.

  3. I want you to know that you have loved our lord and our save and I also want to thank you all so have a GREAT GREAT caring heart and a Great Gift from god. By the way, I also want to Thank you for really caring.

  4. Do you guys use Google Earth pro? It had the feature where you can look at historical satellite imagery, which allows you to see lakes when they are at different levels. I use it a lot to look for areas to fish for bass. I'm guessing y'all use it, but thought I'd mention it since it's such a good tool to see what's under the water. Also, Navionics charts. Another great tool.

  5. when we go scouting a fishing place we don't take gear.. we're going to look not fish it. He could have been carjacked and well.. who knows where he has gotten to. It's sad all the way around. Thank you guys for trying to find these people.

  6. Here in the UK we are getting YouTube adverts for a Hammerdex car window breaking product that uses Adventures With Purpose footage and personnel giving them new names as part of Hammerdex research into the sinking car problem.
Since this product is not the one you are selling I suspect they are using your footage and faces for their own benefit somewhat creatively. Are you aware of this?

  7. It would seem that since he had a house, he would have had a neighbor who knew what kind of Car he had. If someone in the family had checked with all of his neighbors, they may have even had a picture of his vehicle in the background of a photo that they had taken from their yard. Really an odd situation on this Adventure. We wish AWP all the best! GOD bless

  8. This will be the last time I will spend on you. The disappointment that I went through with you was profound. I felt so good about the help you were giving all those families!
And then you crushed every good and wonderful thing your group stood for! 😢

  9. I would try granger lake it’s about 45 minutes from there good fisher lake that’s not as busy as those other ones plus there are a few kayak lunches that you can drive up too that get deep quick

  10. Did you ever contacted the police about this case? There should have been a plate registration for the auto, did you check with the MVD for a plate number? Maybe a driver's license could have been looked up, with the police department. A lot of unanswered questions about this search. I love watching your videos and the dedication your team puts into every search for the missing. Keep looking and giving hope to the families that are wanting any kind of answers for the loss of a loved one.

  11. How I wish they could help with the people in Acapulco Mexico where a hurricane Otis hit, without warning and most of the fisherman, crews, captains are missing, the Government not helping a lot and the families have to hire private divers not as professional as you guys and charging them lots, these people don't have lots of money their income comes from their fishings

  12. You are doing an amazing job there. I'm not from the US, but I am truly amazed by what you all are doing. We need such an outstanding and dedicated team in Europe.

  13. These places all seem to public for a locals favorite fishing hole – which I can tell your gut kept telling you. Have you considered asking some of the local fishing supply shops for the best secret spots or where a local would go?
