Alaska State Troopers: The Dangers in the State of Alaska Pt.4 | Extra Long Episode – Everything Law and Order Blog

—-
Alaska is the largest state in the USA. With just 670,000 inhabitants, the “Last Frontier” is one of the most sparsely populated regions in the world. But even here there is crime. The Alaska State Troopers ensure law and order in the Arctic Circle: they track down missing persons in the wilderness, go on dangerous undercover missions and hunt down traffic offenders. The “Alaska State Troopers” series accompanies the officers on their not quite everyday missions.

Seasonal crime in Alaska brings an influx of fleeing suspects as Alaska State Troopers attempt to hunt down eluding criminals and bring them to justice and Alaska State Troopers partner with Anchorage PD to bring justice to the wild streets of Anchorage.

  1. That old guy situation makes me sad… now a days if you call a pot clinic and tell them you get sad sometimes and they give you 5 grams a day.

  2. Arresting some old dude on some rock not even a road, wow thats really a bad criminal. This is not what a free country look like.

  3. Errr…. When looking for syringes; why don't state troopers use magnets? Far less likelihood of accidental puncture/infection AND you can stick a magnet into places where you can't see…..

  4. I love Buddy the Dog. When I was young we had a dog called Mitzi she was a boxer. She would walk us to the bus stop every day and be there to pick us up. We had a big back paddock and one day we couldn’t find Mitzi. ( in the days before u had to register a dog or fence them in) We got a call from our dad who was going to the pub thought he saw Mitzi in the police station ( lots of cops in my family) and she had found a lost Todder hooked her teeth in the girls jumper and walked her all the way to the police station. The girls parents were so happy to have their baby back and we were happy to have our Mitzi back at home ( even though they wanted to buy her off my father a d he said “ sorry, she gets my 5 daughters to the school bus and brings them home every day. Even when she got older and I would walk into the crescent from a disco night out. She’d bark once and all the dogs in the crescent would run at me then pass me, turn around and would walk me to my yard where Mitzi would greet me..I now have a golden retriever and she is so smart. Dogs are the best!

  5. I lived in Yukon for many years and traveled a lot in Alaska. It is truly an amazing place.

The troopers I met were all really cool and a credit to the state.

  6. 1:07:58 – " you need to step out of the closet now " – go on, step out , your girlfriend won't leave you, she desperado. Just wondering. Peace and love from London.

  7. 44:42 – start of Fall and a rise in drug use. I'd love to know how they'd know there's a rise in drug use. Or rather how they think they know as there's no way that they actually do know. Anyway , I'm just saying, never mind as I really am getting into and enjoy watching this series. Alaska is brilliant, it's so different in so many ways. The dramatic weather, wildlife, people's ways of life and these A.S.T.s behave so differently (generally better) than those in the lower eight.

  8. That guy didn’t even need the troopers help walking or navigating back down the mountain seemed like a waste of time to me

  9. Love the RCMP/Trooper competition. I had family living in the Northwest Territories of Canada up until recently and they would often talk about friends of their neighbours who were with the RCMP in Whitehorse. This has absolutely no semblance of importance other than the fact that it was something I had heard stories about, so it was neat to see it on the show.
Stay safe out there, on and all.
