Werner Herzog has this great talent of feeling the moment and asking the right questions in an interview. He is able to show us that whatever crime was committed by a convict, there is still a person behind it.
Hope any defense lawyer will help him out with his case, I believe he's innocent.

I googled this case… horrible crimes… he admitted that he was there…and he told a neighbour to NOT call the police….well…
I think Werner isn’t that good at interviewing he doesn’t seem to understand how to speak these inmates.
He says things that are in my opinion aggravating and unnecessary.

I can't help myself, but if this is a killer… probably a lot of killers are between us. Sure, he has his problems, but, who hasn't? Can imagine he might really be an ash*** when drunk, but i just think, there must be a better way. There must be a possibility to let them even free, maybe remove testicles, get them some weekly medical injections suppressing aggression, hypnosis or whatever… i mean, there are pills for everything… implement a GPS, GSM and miniature bomb or whatever to have them "under control"… remote controlled… i can't believe that we still have to hold all those "criminals" like animals in a cage, ban them to an island … i believe we have chosen worst possible solution of all possibilities the universe offers! Maybe not applicable to everybody, but for sure worth a try.

As of March 2020, Skinner is still on Death Row;The Judicial District court continues to rule that the DNA testing is not favorable to the accused, while the defense team considers that the presence of an unknown third-party DNA detected, and the loss of evidence by the state should definitively rule out the reasonable character of the conviction and even more the death penalty.
