How lucky you could be to be occupied by the Americans even over the British. Germany didn't rain down bombs on American homeland so there wasn't that same animosity as with the French and British. If you were captured by the Russians, you'd be shite out of luck. And if you were a woman, you'd want to be dead before capture.
